Arming & Disarming

Arming a vehicle will activate the motors in preparation for takeoff. Arming can only occur if the vehicle is ready to fly.

For any GCS, the flight mode "Loiter" must be selected otherwise arming will be prevented.

A vehicle is ready to be armed when the flight readiness indicator reads "Ready to Fly", if any other indicator is present, check the "arming check report" by clicking on the flight readiness indicator to display any preflight warnings.

C-GCS

To arm while using a C-GCS, slide the throttle control fader to zero. Next, twist the control stick to the right (Yaw right) until the HUD displays "ARMED" and the propellers spool up.

To disarm while using a C-GCS, slide the throttle control fader to zero until the HUD displays "DISARMED" and the propellers stop spinning.

C-NAVIGATOR

To arm while using a C-NAVIGATOR, hold the left joystick straight down then press and hold the right button below the right joystick for 1 second until the HUD displays "ARMED" and the propellers spool up.

To disarm while using a C-NAVIGATOR, hold the left joystick straight down then push the left button below the right joystick for 2 seconds until the HUD displays "DISARMED" and the propellers stop spinning.

SROC

To arm while using an SRoC, push the left control stick straight down while pressing the circled button until the HUD displays "ARMED" and the propellers spool up.

To disarm while using an SRoC, push the left control stick straight down until the HUD displays "DISARMED" and the propellers stop spinning.
